Project Meetings
Meetings are held on Tuesdays, at Horseshoe Equestrian Park. During gatherings, Members will learn to ride, train, and care for their equine-companions. Hands-on-experience is a great way to learn, so during each meeting, Members and their horses will work on a variety of skills in Gymkhana, Western & English. Along the way they will also develop responsibility, initiative, self-reliance, and good horsemanship. Whatever your riding level, you are sure to have a blast!

Hey-Hay, it's Show Day!
Friendly competitions are a great way to show off everything you and your horsey- friend have been learning over their 4-H adventure. When Member's aren't soaring over jumps, flying around barrels, teaming up to sort cattle, or racing to claim the fastest Gymkhana times, they have the chance to hang with their fellow horse-lovers.

Our project offers various types of shows throughout the 4-H year, including:
-
Sorting: A fun ranch-based sport, where teams of two race to separate certain cows into their respective pens.
-
Western: Riders compete in various events trying their hands at roping, barrel racing, and pole bending.
-
English: Members in these kinds of shows can maneuver over poles and fly over fences during Jumping and Equitation, or strut their horse's stuff in dressage.
-
Gymkhana: If you like to test your balance, speed, and dexterity, Gymkhana is the Show for you! Riders compete in multiple events in order to test their skill.

Thank you for your interest in our Project! As always, it is our goal, "To Make the Best, Better." We look forward to helping your child develop important skills and learn how to care for and ride their horse companions.
