CLOVERBUDS

Exploring "Head, Heart, Hands, & Health"

Ages 5-7

Budding Relationships—"I pledge my Heart to greater loyalty....."

Children ages 5-7 are learning how to play with their peers, and begin finding best friends. As a result, group games and activities are designed to help develop members' self-esteem, and social interaction skills in a positive environment.

No CloverBud experience would be complete without doing some Community service.  During the year, members can participate in various community-oriented activities.  They will cooperate with each other and other projects to:

  • Hand out flyers and collect canned food during 4H's annual "Trick or Treat so Others Can Eat" Food drive,

  • Decorate a float for the QC Holiday Parade, which they can ride down the route.

  • Participate in Community Club meetings

CloverBuds are our youngest 4-H members, from 5 to 7 years old. The program is an introduction to the meaning of the 4 "Hs"; (Head, Heart, Hands and Health).

Through educational activities, games and crafts, the CloverBuds program assists children in developing self-esteem, as well as their physical, learning, decision-making and social interaction skills. They will also get to learn about all different projects areas,

having a lot of fun along the way!

Group Meetings—"I Pledge my Head to clearer thinking....."

On the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, CloverBud members get together to learn about the various 4H projects, through conversation, games, educational activities and crafts.  Members will have the chance to discover practical usage of the 4 "Hs" (Head, Heart, Hands, & Health),  and even develop their learning, physical, and decision-making skills.

Each meeting starts at 6pm, and is located on Sossaman and Ocotillo.    If you would like more information about this project, or to receive the direct meeting address, please email: qccloverbuds@gmail.com
